Dr Xiaoying Xu has over 25 years experience as a professional Chinese language teacher. Before moving to New Zealand in 2014, she was an Associate Professor and Head of Chinese Language Teaching at one of China's top universities.

Xiaoying specialises in tailoring lessons to suit your personal needs. Whatever your background, purposes, goals, learning style and timeframe, Xiaoying will design your course, with individualised lessons, just for you.

Complete beginners right through to those wishing to polish up on their fluency are welcome. As are primary-aged children to seniors. Short term or long term study, the choice is yours.

Lessons are held in a private, quiet classroom set up in our family home, to keep our costs, and your fees, down.

We are conveniently located seconds from the Northcote Rd motorway offramp, next to Takapuna Normal Intermediate School and opposite Smales Farm.
